The RFID Facility Assessment elevates the RFID and ROI assessments to the next level by providing a comprehensive study of RFID and/or other visibility technologies for use across a facility. The focus of the assessment is to help the client craft a value-driven business case and project roadmap to maximize operational facility wide efficiencies, synergies, and value. This approach includes an assessment of process areas, as well as the technical and financial feasibility of enabling visibility in a facility.
USED BY: Organizations who wish to explore the use RFID and/or other visibility technologies across multiple process areas in a facility.
RESULTS / DELIVERABLES: Upon completion, a company will have everything necessary to ensure the successful deployment of a facility-wide visibility solution. Deliverables include: 1. One half-day session on RFID technology including a RFID market and vendor review.
2. RFID Assessment Express and ROI Assessment Express performed for up to three facility process areas.
3. Facility-level:
? Business requirements definition and prioritization.
? Multi-level, multi-workflow process mapping
? RF spectrum analysis of the facility.
? Cost, benefit, return on investment, and risk/value proposition matrix.
4. Solution architecture including potential equipment, software, and tags. DURATION: Approximately 38 FTE days over a 6-8 week period which includes up to 5 days on-site by a project manager and engineer(s).
